About Us
Calgary's trusted local security team, protecting what matters most since 2014.
Our story
Reliable General Security is a licensed, bonded, and insured security company serving homes and businesses across Calgary. Every system we build is tailored to the property — from alarms and CCTV to access control and full 24/7 monitoring. In 2026, RGS entered a new chapter under fresh management, with one goal: sharpen everything that already earned Calgary's trust, and raise the bar on service and technology. We bring the same pride to every project, from first assessment to final install — quality, integrity, and professionalism you can count on. Licensed. Bonded. Insured. Local. Built to make them think twice. Contact us today to protect what matters most.
FAQs
How much does a system cost?
Equipment starts around $200 and monitoring starts at $25/month, but every quote is built around your property. We assess what you actually need, so you never pay for extras.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes, and here’s the upside: commit to the term and your 4th year of monitoring is completely free.
Do you install it, or is it DIY?
We install everything ourselves, in-house. No kits, no contractors.
Can I control the system from my phone?
Yes. Arm, disarm, and watch your cameras from one app — no wall panel required.
How fast is the response if my alarm goes off?
Our monitoring team responds 24/7 and dispatches help fast, day or night.
Do you cover homes and businesses?
Both — from single-family homes to shops, restaurants, and warehouses across Calgary.
